The fifth-ranked and fifth-seeded Notre Dame women?s soccer team learned its NCAA championship quarterfinal opponent on Sunday when fourth-seeded Nebraska beat visiting Texas A&M 1-0 in the third round. The Irish, who beat Stanford 1-0 in the third round on Friday, Nov. 19, now travel to Nebraska to face the Cornhuskers on Sunday, Nov. 28, at 1:00 p.m. CST at the Abbott Sports Complex. Nebraska used a goal in the 68th minute by Breanna Boyd to reach the NCAA quarterfinals. The winner advances to the NCAA semifinals and will face the winner of the game between top-seeded Santa Clara and Connecticut on Friday, Dec. 3, at 4:30 p.m. at San Jose State?s Spartan Stadium.
