NOTRE DAME, Ind. — University of Notre Dame women’s soccer sophomore Jennifer Westendorf was selected to train with the full Brazilian Women’s National Team.

Westendorf joins national team players at training camp as they prepare for the World Cup Qualifiers, which will take place from April 4-22 in Chile.

The Grayson, Georgia, native appeared in all 22 of Notre Dame’s contests last season, recording 27 total points, which is the second-most on the Irish roster. Westendorf, a two-time All-ACC selection, finished with 10 goals and seven assists, tied for the most on the team.

Westendorf, whose mother is Brazilian, was named to the Academic All-District Team last fall and was selected to the All-ACC Academic Team in 2016.

Westendorf and the Irish will compete in five spring games, beginning with a matchup at Purdue on March 24. Click here to see the entire schedule.
