AS A JUNIOR: Continued her reign as the top Irish threat in the short sprints and added 60-meter school record to her resume … won both the 60 and 200 meters at the Notre Dame Indoor Opener … took top honors in the 60 meters at the Meyo Invitational, besting a field of 33 athletes on the way to an NCAA provisional qualifying mark of 7.42 seconds; that time also set a career best and new school record in the event, besting Ayesha Boyd[apos]s mark of 7.44 set in 2002 … took second in the 200 meters at the Meyo, running 23.74 to set another provisional qualifier … won her second BIG EAST title at the indoor league meet, running 24.06 (prelims) and 23.96 (finals) to win the 200-meter competition … also earned all-BIG EAST honors in the 60 meter dash, placing third in 7.47 … scored points as a member of the sixth-place 4×400-meter relay as well … her point scoring was a critical factor in the Irish winning the team title … bettered her 60-meter school record at the Alex Wilson Invitational, running 7.38 seconds and also ran 23.90 to win the 200 meters … came out strong in the Cal Poly Invitational to start the outdoor campaign, winning the 100- and 200-meter dashes with times of 11.66 (10th-best in school history) and 24.05 seconds, respectively; also earned an NCAA Mideast Regional qualification in the 100 meters … won the 100-meter title at the Arizona Jim Click Shootout (11.67) … took fourth in the 100 meters at the Mount SAC Relays, running 11.65 and also ran 23.98 in the 200 meters for sixth … earned another regional mark at the Central Collegiate Championship, competing with teammates Brienne Davis, Okechi Ogbuokiri and Domenique Manning to run 45.67 in the 4×100-meter relay … earned more all-BIG EAST honors in the 100 meters at the outdoor league meet, taking third in 11.65 after placing first in the preliminaries in 11.60 … ran a season-best and regionally-qualifying time in the 200-meter prelims at 23.76 seconds (placed fifth in the final heat) … also ran on the fourth-place 4×100-meter relay team … ran a season-best time in the 100 meters to finish 12th at the NCAA Mideast Regional in 11.53 seconds … also took 11th in the 200 meters in 23.91, narrowly missing the regional final for the second time in the meet … also proved her worth in the classroom, earning second-team ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Academic All-District V honors … will look to make an even bigger splash nationally during the 2006-07 season … already owns school record with 10 career all-conference citations (five indoor, five outdoor) … has stranglehold on Irish career top-10 lists, with 10 of top 11 60-meter times, five of top six indoor 200-meter marks, eight of the top 10 100-meter times and five of the top nine outdoor 200-meter marks.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Emerged as Notre Dame[apos]s top sprinter and a bona fide championship contender … won 15 competitions throughout the 2005 track and field season …topped her 2004 season bests at the Blue & Gold Invitational, running 7.47 in the 60 meters and 24.34 in the 200 meters … won both events at the Notre Dame Opener … set a career best in the 200 meters at the Meyo Invitational, running 23.85 for first place while also running 7.48 for third in the 60 meters … earned all-BIG EAST honors in the indoor 60 meters and 200 meters — ran 7.52 for second in the 60 meters and 24.09 for second in the 200 meters … also ran the 4×400 meter relay with Tiffany Gunn, Crysta Swayzer and Okechi Ogbuokiri (third, 3:47.99) … concluded the indoor season by tying a (then) career best in the 60 meters in 7.47 and setting a new career best in the 200 meters with a 23.60 effort … her 23.60 mark also tied the school record in the event … ran well at the first two outdoor meets before exploding for two firsts at the Mount SAC Relays … won the 100 meters in 11.28 seconds and took the 200 meters in 23.28 seconds to cap an outstanding meet … her 11.28 mark set a new school record … competed in four events at the outdoor BIG EAST meet … earned her first BIG EAST title in the 100 meters, running 11.69 … also garnered all-BIG EAST honors in the 200 meters with a 24.10 mark and in the 4×100 meter relay with teammates Ogbuokiri, Domenique Manning, and Brienne Davis (46.46) … scored more BIG EAST points in a sixth-place, 3:47.03 effort with the 4×400 meter relay that also featured Ogbuokiri, Swayzer and Davis … qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional in the 100 and 200 meter dashes … finished seventh and eighth, respectively, and earned bids to the NCAA Championship in both events … failed to make the NCAA finals in either event due to injuries.

AS A FRESHMAN: Posted strong performances at the beginning of the indoor season, then the end of the outdoor season in 2004 … qualified for the BIG EAST indoor meet and ran a season-best in her first race of the year, posting a 7.55 effort at the Blue & Gold Invitational … ended up eighth in the 60 meters at the BIG EAST Indoor Championship (8.04) after running a 7.63 in the preliminaries … qualified for the BIG EAST outdoor meet in both the 100 and 200 meters … became one of the top 200 meter runners in the Midwest during the late portion of the 2004 outdoor campaign … won both the 100 and 200 meters at the Purdue Invitational (12.03, 24.29) … finished sixth in the 100 meters and seventh in the 200 meters at the BIG EAST outdoor meet … ran a 23.89 200-meter race at the Georgia Tech Invitational to qualify for the NCAA Mideast Regional … eventually ran a personal-best 23.70 in the 200 meters at the regional meet to finish 10th overall … earned first all-conference honor of her career at the league outdoor meet, helping the 4×100-meter team of Ayesha Boyd, Kristen Dodd and Tricia Floyd finish third in 46.19.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Four-year letter winner in both indoor and outdoor track at Chamblee High School as a sprint specialist … two-time Georgia state champion in 100 and 200 meters … state champion in three different classifications (AA, AAA and AAAA) during her four-year career … ran personal bests of 11.75 in 100 and 23.83 in 200-meter outdoor events … ran personal best indoor times in 200 meters (24.5), 60 meters (7.70), 55 meters (7.09) and 50 meters (6.58) … established DeKalb County record of 24.02 in 200 meters … member of 4×100 relay team that broke the Junior Olympic National record in Buffalo, N.Y. with a time of 44.79 … born Nov. 3, 1984 in Fort Worth, Texas … daughter of Esther and John Erigha … youngest of three children … enrolled in College of Arts and Letters as a sociology major (3.788 cumulative grade-point average through spring 2006) … earned Dean[apos]s List honors in the spring 2005 term after posting a perfect 4.0 semester GPA.
