No. 24 Notre Dame and Providence will go head-to-head in the opening round of the 2010 BIG EAST Conference Tournament at Ulmer Field in Louisville, Ky.

Notre Dame, the second-seeded team, last met with the Friars, tabbed at the No. 7 spot, last season in Providence. The Irish swept the doubleheader.
