NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame rowing team and head coach Martin Stone announced its 2010 fall schedule. The four-race campaign gets underway this Sunday with the Head of the Rock Regatta on the Rockford River in Rockford, Ill.
Last season, the Irish fared well at the Head of the Rock, capturing the novice eight title in a time of 16:15.34, while also earning a runner-up finish in the collegiate four race in 16:53.45.
The Irish return to the water against Tulsa at 4:30 p.m. (ET) on Friday, Oct. 29 and 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, Oct. 30 on the St. Joseph River in South Bend, Ind. The team then heads out to take on Indiana at 11:00 a.m. (ET) on Sunday, Nov. 7 on Eagle Creek at the Indy Rowing Center in Indianapolis, Ind.
Notre Dame wraps up the fall portion of their schedule with a four-team race against Ohio State, Michigan State and Indiana at noon on Sunday, Nov. 14 on the Griggs Reservoir at the Ohio State Rowing Center in Columbus, Ohio.
