AS A JUNIOR: Led the Irish sprint group along with classmate Maryann Erigha … earned BIG EAST qualifications in three events during the indoor season (200m, 400m, 500m) … top indoor 200-meter time of the season came at the Notre Dame Opener where she ran a career-best 25.09 in a second-place effort … also added a career-best 400-meter performance at the meet, running 54.00 for the eighth-best time in school history, a mark that provisionally qualified her for the NCAA Championship … established her season-best time in the 500 meters at the Notre Dame Invitational, finishing first in 1:14.38 … at the BIG EAST indoor meet, emerged from the 400-meter prelims in first before finishing second and earning all-BIG EAST honors in the final with a time of 55.36 seconds … contributed more points to Notre Dame[apos]s team title as a member of the 4×400-meter relay with Erigha, Brienne Davis and Nicole Yergler (sixth, 3:46.70) … kicked off her outdoor season by winning 400-meter competitions at the Cal Poly Invitational and Jim Click Shootout, the latter with a time of 54.80; also ran 24.72 in the 200 meters at the Click Shootout … improved that mark at the Miami (Ohio) Invitational where she took third in 24.36 … placed fourth in the 400 meters at the Mount SAC Relays in 55.35 seconds … qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional in the 400 meters at the Pomona-Pitzer Invitational, running 54.47 seconds … ran 24.47 in the 200 meters in the preliminaries of the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship, finishing 11th … established a season-best 400-meter time of 53.91 in the prelims of the league meet, eventually finishing third in the final with a mark of 54.02 to pick up another all-league citation … now owns eight career combined all-BIG EAST honors (indoor/outdoor track), tied for third-most in school history … improved her regional mark in the 400 meters by running 53.89 seconds for sixth at the Georgia Tech Invitational … concluded her season with a 16th-place finish at the Mideast Regional.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Improved significantly in the 400 meters to earn a spot among the nation[apos]s top athletes in the event … won the 400 meters at the Central Michigan Opener, clocking 56.87 seconds … established a career best of 1:13.92 in the 500 meters at the Notre Dame Opener … placed second in both the 200 and 400 meters at the Notre Dame Invitational (25.31, 55.58) … lowered her 400-meter career best to 54.29 at the Meyo Invitational in a second-place effort … won her first BIG EAST title in the 400 meters at the indoor meet, clocking 54.99 in the final to claim the crown … also ran the 4×400 meter relay with teammates Brienne Davis, Maryann Erigha, and Crysta Swayzer and finished third … lowered her indoor career best in the 400 meters to 54.03 at the Alex Wilson Invitational … this performance also stands as the eighth-best in school history … started off the outdoor season strong with a 55.06, second-place showing in the 400 meters at the Willie Williams Invitational … took fourth in the 400 at the Mount SAC Relays in a time of 54.59 … also broke 55 seconds at the Hillsdale Gina Relays where she clocked 54.74 … scored team points in four events at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship … placed sixth in the 200 meters in 24.67 while earning all-BIG EAST honors in the 400 meters in 53.80 … earned another all-BIG EAST honor with the 4×100 meter relay team that also included Erigha, Davis, and Domenique Manning … also scored sixth-place points in the 4×400 with Swayzer, Davis and Erigha … established her current career best in the 400 meters at the Georgia Tech Invitational with a 53.45 second, sixth-place mark … qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional in the 400 meters … ran 54.25 for eighth and earned a bid to the NCAA Championship … ran a fast 53.73 at the national meet to earn 19th place.

AS A FRESHMAN: A key member of Notre Dame[apos]s sprint group in 2004, providing depth in all relays and events … qualified for the BIG EAST indoor meet in the 500 meters, finishing 12th in 1:17.56 … won her first career BIG EAST title as part of the indoor 4×400-meter relay team, helping teammates Tiffany Gunn, Kristen Dodd and Tricia Floyd finish in 3:45.23 … also earned all-BIG EAST honors on the distance medley relay team, finishing second in 11:32.95 along with Lauren King, Megan Johnson and Kerry Meagher … focused on the 400 meters during the outdoor season, finishing third at the Indy Relays and Tom Botts Invitational.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Named 2003 Female Track Athlete of the Year by the Burlington Times, Courier Post, Newark Star-Ledger and Philadelphia Inquirer … garnered 13 All-America honors during her prep career both individually and as a member of a relay team … earned All-America recognition in the 400 meters during all four of her scholastic season … won National Scholastic Indoor Championship in the 400 meter as a senior … won the AAU national championship in 400 meters as a junior … named Performer of the Year for her indoor and outdoor track performances during her senior season by the South Jersey Coaches Association … owns New Jersey state records in the 400 meters (54.2), indoor 4×400-meter relay (3:45.3), indoor (4:01.5) and outdoor (3:59.0) 4×400-meter sprint relays … class valedictorian … member of the National Honor Society … served as class treasurer during her junior year … played in the marching and jazz bands … born March 10, 1985 in Mt.
