AS A JUNIOR: Continued to develop in the longer sprint events … earned a BIG EAST indoor qualification in the 400 meters at the Notre Dame Invitational, running 49.60 … bettered that mark at the Meyo Invitational where he covered the distance in 49.53 seconds … also ran the 500 meters in 1:05.90 and competed in the 4×400 relay which ran the second-fastest time in school history and provisionally qualified for the NCAA meet … that quartet also Austin Wechter, Bob Kueny, and Ryan Postel and ran 3:10.31 … took 12th in the 400 meters at the BIG EAST Indoor Championship, while also competing in the 4×400-meter relay … set an outdoor career-best at the Jim Click Shootout, running the 400 meters in 49.03 for sixth place and a BIG EAST qualification … ran the 200 meters in 22.76 at the Notre Dame Spring Opener … lowered his career 400-meter mark in the preliminaries of the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship, running 48.62 to take 15th place … scored points for the eventual team champions as a member of the 4×400-meter relay that was fourth in 3:11.69 … ran the third-fastest 4×400-meter time in school history (3:09.95) with Wechter, Kueny and Postel at the Georgia Tech Invitational, qualifying for the NCAA Mideast Regional in the process … that relay unit took 12th at the Mideast Regional, running the fourth-fastest time in school history (3:10.39), but missing the final.
AS A SOPHOMORE: Served as a 400-meter specialist … qualified for the BIG EAST Indoor Championship … placed third in the 4×400 meter relay at the league meet with Trevor McClain-Duer, Bob Kueny, and Austin Weaver … achieved BIG EAST Champion status in the distance medley relay along with teammates Brett Adams, Jamal Afridi, and Sean O[apos]Donnell … ran the 400 meters and contributed to the 4×400 meter relays during the outdoor season … competed in the 4×400 meter relay at the BIG EAST outdoor meet … anchored the sixth-place relay that also featured teammates Wechter, Kueny and Roberto Garcia.
AS A FRESHMAN: Proved to be a valuable relay and individual performer during his freshman season in 2004 … helped set the school record in the 4×400-meter relay during the indoor season, combining with teammates Trevor McClain-Duer, Selim Nurudeen and Ryan Postel to finish third at the Alex Wilson Invitational in 3:09.87 … helped that same team earn all-BIG EAST honors by finishing second at the league indoor meet in 3:13.71 … qualified for the BIG EAST indoor meet in the 400 meters, just missing all-conference honors with a fourth-place effort (49.20) … logged two great relay results during the outdoor season … helped the 4×400 quartet finish eighth at the NCAA Mideast Regional in 3:09.65 – the second-best mark in school history … also earned all-BIG EAST honors by helping the squad finish second at the league outdoor meet in 3:10.52.
