AS A JUNIOR: Set significant career bests in the high jump and long jump during the 2005-06 track and field season … qualified for the BIG EAST Championship in both events both indoors and outdoors, adding a NCAA Mideast Regional qualification in the outdoor high jump … top high jump of the indoor season was a mark of 1.68m (5-6) at the Purdue Invitational … at the indoor league meet, took 16th in the high jump and scored team points in the triple jump, finishing seventh in 11.61m (38-1 ¼) … set a career best in the triple jump at the Alex Wilson Invitational, leaping 11.99m (39-4) for sixth place … won the triple jump competition at the Miami (Ohio) Invitational, soaring a personal-best 12.06m (39-7) … set a huge career best in the high jump at the Indy Relays, winning the meet with a mark of 1.75m (5-8 ¾) … also bettered her career best in the triple jump with a winning leap of 12.09m (39-8) … matched her career-best high jump at the outdoor meet, leaping 1.75m for sixth … improved her career-best triple jump in a fifth-place effort, hopping 12.24m (40-2) … qualified for the NCAA Mideast Regional in the high jump, placing 15th in 1.71m (5-7 ¼).

AS A SOPHOMORE: Competed in all of the jumps during the 2005 track and field season … established a career best in the high jump at the Notre Dame Invitational, clearing 1.69m (5-6 ½) for second place … also triple jumped 11.60m (38-0 ¾) at the meet … qualified for the indoor BIG EAST meet in the high jump and triple jump … managed point-scoring sixth-place finishes in each event, clearing 1.65m (5-5) in the high jump and 11.49m (37-8 ½) in the triple jump … placed second in the outdoor high jump at the Willie Williams Invitational (1.60m, 5-3) … performed well at the Indy Relays, winning the triple jump competition in 11.64m (38-2 ¼) and placing third in the high jump with a 1.65m (5-5) mark … qualified for the high jump and triple jump at the BIG EAST outdoor meet … took tenth in the high jump with a 1.65m clearance and tenth in the triple jump an 11.50m (37-8 ¾) effort.

AS A FRESHMAN: Focused on developing consistent performances in the triple jump and high jump during her rookie season in 2004 … qualified for both the BIG EAST indoor and outdoor meets … won her first collegiate event title in the Notre Dame Invitational, jumping 11.79m (38-8 ¼) … posted her best effort of the indoor season at the BIG EAST meet with a measurement of 11.91m (39-1), good enough for sixth place in the competition … also qualified for the BIG EAST indoor meet in the high jump, finishing 10th overall with a 1.59m mark (5-2 ½) … best high jump finish of the indoor season came at the Notre Dame Invitational, placing third (1.64m, 5-4 ½) … placed second in the outdoor triple jump at both the Indy Relays and Notre Dame Spring Opener … moved on to finish 14th in the triple jump at the BIG EAST Outdoor Championship.

HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL: Four-year letterwinner in track and field at Brentwood High School in Nashville, Tenn., as she concentrated on the pentathlon, long jump and triple jump … also was awarded three letters in soccer … three-time Tennessee state champion in the pentathlon in 2001, [apos]02 and [apos]03 … also captured state titles in `03 in both the long jump and triple jump … in winning pentathlon crown, established a new state record … set national high school triple jump record in her senior season … led prep team to three consecutive state high school titles … attended same high school as Lauren Brewster, a senior on the Irish volleyball team … born May 18, 1985 in Montreal, Quebec … daughter of Sandy and Bill Gullickson … oldest of six children … grandfather, Leroy Leslie, is a 1952 Notre Dame graduate and was a member of the Irish basketball team for three seasons, serving as team captain during his senior year … uncle, Tom Gullickson, is a 1977 Notre Dame graduate and earned a monogram as a reserve offensive tackle on the 1974 Irish football team (last season coached by the legendary Ara Parseghian and ended with Orange Bowl victory over Alabama) … father, Bill, was a 14-year pitching veteran (1979-94) in both the American and National Leagues, winning 162 games in his career, including a personal-best 20 victories with the 1991 Detroit Tigers … enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business as a marketing major.
