The Notre Dame Sports Information Office will provide three offerings by which media and fans can keep tabs on today’s NCAA women’s soccer game between the Irish and Harvard at Alumni Field (7:00 EST):

o WVFI-AM (640) is slated to provide a full-game live broadcast of the game, with an internet link to the broadcast available via the main page of the Notre Dame athletics website (www.und.com, look for the live coverage box on the right side of the page).

o Regular in-game updates will be posted on a voice mailbox that likewise is available on the main page at www.und.com, under the “Irish Athletics Now” section (located below the primary headlines).

o For those without internet access, the newly-unveiled Notre Dame sports hotline will provide regular in-game updates, at (219) 631-3000.

GAMEDAY NOTES: Snow began falling in South Bend late Thursday night and had continued through the day on Friday … ND and Harvard faced three common opponents during the 2000 season, with the Irish beating Boston College twice (2-1, 3-0), winning 4-0 at Yale and posting a tie (0-0) and win (1-0) over UConn … the Crimson topped BC (2-1, 2OT) and Yale (3-1) but lost to UConn (1-0) … ND sophomore D/M Nancy Mikacenic was a prep teammate of Harvard sophomore M Bryce Weed and freshman D Kathleen Ferguson at Seattle’s Lakeside HS … Irish freshman G Lauren Kent was a classmate of Harvard D Lauren Cozzolino at Santa Margarita HS in southern California … Harvard freshman M Katie Westfall is the cousin of current ND men’s soccer players Dan and Tim Storino.
