The Notre Dame women’s soccer team has received the No. 2 overall seed for the upcoming NCAA Championship and will serve as one of 16 hosts for first- and second-round games, to be held this weekend at Alumni Field.

Notre Dame (19-2-1) will face Loyola of Chicago in the second game at Alumni Field on Friday, Nov. 14 (7:00), with the earlier game featuring Michigan vs. Oakland (4:30). The winners then will advance to Sunday’s second-round game at 1:00 p.m.

The winner of the second-round game at Notre Dame then will play a third-round game the following weekend (Nov. 21-23) versus the winner of games being hosted by 15th-seeded Boston College in Newton, Mass.
