Notre Dame Finishes Day One Of Rebel Intercollegiate In 13th Place

OXFORD, Miss. — The University of Notre Dame women’s golf team finished day one of the Rebel Intercollegiate with a team score of 300 (+15), leaving the Irish in 13th place of 18 teams.

Sophomore Talia Campbell leads the Notre Dame standings after shooting a 73 (+1) on the first day, tying her 15th in the individual standings.

Freshman Jordan Ferreira finished the day in a tie for 31st place after shooting a two-above-par score of 74.

Junior Ashley Armstrong had a first-day score of 76 (+4), tying her for 46th place individually. Senior Kristina Nhim finished the day tied for 80th place after carding a score of 80 (+8). Junior Kelli Oride’s score of 82 (+10) did not go to Notre Dame’s overall score, and tied Oride for 90th place in the tournament.

Because of expected inclement weather on Sunday, Notre Dame and the other teams at the tournament will shoot all remaining 36 holes today. Results following the action can be found here on UND.com.
