BLOOMINGTON, Ind. — With their final regular season meet of the season in the books, the Irish are gearing up for the 2019 ACC Outdoor Track and Field Championships next week.
In their final outing before the postseason the Irish came out strong, recording two top-five finishes, including a win in the earlier women’s 800m run by Emily Franz.

In the men’s 800m championship heat, Clayton Goldman finished fifth with a time of 1:50.83.
The Irish will begin their postseason run with a trip to Charlottesville, Virginia next week for the ACC Championships. Currently, eight Irish sit in the top-5 of the ACC in 11 events, including eight in the top-3.
The Irish reign supreme in the 1500m run as Jess Harris and Yared Nuguse both own the top time in their respective races. The ACC Freshman of the Year through the fall cross country season, Jackie Gaughan holds the fastest time of the freshman class in both the 5K and 10K while boasting the second and third best times in the conference, respectively.
