NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame women’s soccer team will hold a special youth skills clinic from 6:30-7:30 p.m. (ET) March 26 at the Kroc Center in South Bend (900 West Western Avenue). Among the participants will be members of the Fighting Irish women’s soccer coaching staff, as well as selected Notre Dame players.

The clinic is open to children in eighth grade or younger, and it is free to Kroc Center members, while non-Kroc Center members will be charged a $5 registration fee.

Space is limited so participants are encouraged to sign up early.

Notre Dame is coming off a stellar 2012 season that saw the Fighting Irish finish 16-6-2, win a share of the BIG EAST Conference National Division title and advance to the quarterfinals of the NCAA Championship for the 15th time in program history. Notre Dame will have 10 starters and 22 veterans returning next season, with this returning group accounting for all 46 goals and 126 of a possible 127 points scored during the 2012 season. The Fighting Irish also welcome an outstanding freshman class that currently is ranked third in the nation by Top Drawer Soccer, as Notre Dame embarks on a new era with its inaugural season in the Atlantic Coast Conference.
