Irish Finish Strong On First Day Of Cardinal Invitational

The University of Notre Dame rowing team began the 2017 season with a series of races at the Cardinal Invitational in Oak Ridge, Tennessee on Saturday, March 11. Hosted by the University of Louisville, Notre Dame entered four total boats in eight races on the day.

The competition will continue on Sunday, March 12 with the 1st Varsity 8 in the water at 11:06 am ET.

“I think the racing went ‘ok’ today,” Irish head coach Martin Stone said. “Most crews raced better in the second session. We will continue to focus on our process and being better each time out.”
