TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – In the final day of the Gibson Invitational at Indiana State University, the Irish picked up a win in their only event of the day, as Colton Crum took home the pole vault title.
Crum cleared a height of 5.21m to take first place in the event. The height is the fifth best mark in program history for pole vault during the outdoor season. Crum has now won the pole vault title in each of his last three outdoor outings.
Notre Dame is back in action next weekend at the Drake Relays in Des Moines, Iowa, and the Clark Wood Invitational in Louisville, Kentucky.
