The University of Notre Dame rowing team began its competition at the 2017 Head of the Charles Regatta in Boston, Massachusetts, on Saturday, October 21, with the Club Four and Alumni Boat in action at the traditional top rowing event of the fall season.
Ashley Young, Lauren McKee, Meredith Swartz and Julia Randall compiled a great effort in the Club Four, finishing eighth overall in the time trail in 18:43.178.
Notre Dame alumni boat also posted a solid time in the competition, finishing 28th overall in 18:51.434.
The Head of the Charles Regatta will finish on Sunday, October 22, with the Women’s Championship Eight (2:22 p.m. ET) and Women’s Championship Four (1:30 p.m. ET) on the Charles River.
