Women’s Golf Season Continues At Clemson Invitational

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The Fighting Irish women’s golf season continues on March 26-28 at the Clemson Invitational. The three-round tournament will take place at The Reserve at Lake Keowee (6,471 yards/Par 72) in Sunset, S.C.

The Irish will begin each round on the 10th hole, with the first two rounds slated to begin at 10 a.m. ET, while the final round is set for 9 a.m. ET. 

The 2021 Clemson Invitational field includes the hosts from Clemson, Notre Dame, Illinois, Furman, Augusta, Indiana, Kent State, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan State, Ohio State, Old Dominion, Louisville, Purdue, UNC Wilmington, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wisconsin. 

Notre Dame’s lineup will feature Lauren Beaudreau (1), Madelyn Jones (2), Abby Heck (3), Claire Albrecht (4) and Julia Bordeaux (5). 

It will mark the fourth tournament of the spring for the Irish, having most recently played at the Valspar Augusta Invitational on March 13-14 where Beaudreau (78-75-75-228) and Jones (77-74-77) were the team’s top finishers.

On the season among players with at least six rounds played, Abby Heck leads Notre Dame with a 75.33 stroke average.
