Women's Tennis Falls in Regional Final

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — The UCLA women’s tennis team defeated Notre Dame on Sunday by a 5-1 score to win the NCAA Midwest Regional Tournament on Sunday. With the win, UCLA advances to the 16-team NCAA Championship, which begins at Notre Dame on Thursday. Notre Dame finishes the season with a 20-10 record and was the No. 2 seed in the event, while UCLA was the top seed in the event.

Notre Dame will be represented at the NCAA Championship in both the 64-player singles tournament and 32-team doubles tournament, which begin on May 25. Junior Jennifer Hall and Michelle Dasso will play in the singles tournament while Hall and senior Tiffany Gates will play in the doubles event.
