BLOOMINGTON, Ind. (4/8/00) – The Notre Dame women’s golf team suffered a rough opening day at the Indiana Invitational, as the Irish stand in last place in the 15-team event after a first-round score of 353 at the par-74, 6,134-yard IU Golf Course.

Junior Mary Klein led the Irish with a round of 82 while her classmate Shane Smith added an 89, with junior Danielle Villarosa and sophomore Kristin McMurtie each adding 91s.
