Rising senior Julie Vrabel was named to the All-ACC Academic Women's Tennis Team on Wednesday.

Vrabel Named To All-ACC Academic Team

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – University of Notre Dame women’s tennis rising senior Julie Vrabel has been named to the 2015 All-Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Women’s Tennis Team, the conference office announced today.

Vrabel, a science preprofessional major from Centreville, Virginia, is making her first appearance on the all-academic team. Playing primarily No. 3 singles and No. 2 doubles, Vrabel helped the Irish to an 14-11 record, including an 8-6 mark in the ACC. She put together a 10-15 dual singles record on the season, while tallying a 10-12 dual doubles record (10-11 with Allison Miller).

To be eligible for consideration for the All-ACC Academic Team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his or her academic career.
