SERIES HISTORY VS. VIRGINIA TECH
Notre Dame and Virginia Tech will meet for the 10th time ever on Sunday with the Irish holding a 6-3 lead in the all-time series. Notre Dame has defeated the Hokies in three consecutive meetings, including a straight-set win in the last contest between the two schools on November 5, 2017.

FEATURED FRESHMEN
The freshman duo of Zoe Nunez and Charley Niego have made a big impact on the court for the Irish this season. Niego is tied for the team lead with 191 kills while Nunez has racked up a team-high 643 assists through 17 matches. Another freshman, Sydney Bent, is third on the team with 117 kills.

NIEGO SWEEPS ACC WEEKLY HONORS
Last week, Charley Niego became the first player in the ACC since at least 2010 to earn both Player & Freshman of the Week honors. She earned the accolades after helping the Irish top both Clemson and Georgia Tech after accumulating 36 kills and a .307 hitting percentage in the two matches.

She has now reached the double-digit kill mark in nine matches this season, including each of the last six.
