For the second time this preseason, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish are a top-10 team.
On Wednesday, USA TODAY Sports released its Top 25 Coaches Poll, and Karen and Kevin Keyes Head Coach Niele Ivey’s squad checks in at No. 10. It was announced earlier this month that the Irish are the No. 9 team in the AP Poll heading into the 2022-23 season.
Like the AP Poll, five ACC teams are included in the top 15 of the Coaches Poll: No. 5 Louisville, No. 8 North Carolina State, Notre Dame, No. 12 North Carolina and No. 13 Virginia Tech. The Irish open conference play on the road against the Hokies on Dec. 18.
Notre Dame will host Truman State on Oct. 31 for an exhibition before welcoming Northern Illinois for a Nov. 7 home opener.
Season tickets are on sale here, and single-game tickets will become available on Wednesday, Oct. 19.
