NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The threat of additional heavy rain, cold temperatures and travel considerations have forced the cancellation of tonight’s game between Notre Dame and Western Michigan. The game between the two regional rivals, which was scheduled to be played at C.O. Brown Stadium in Battle Creek, Mich., will likely be made up, but a date has yet to be determined.

The Irish will return to action Wednesday night at U.S. Cellular Field in Chicago against Northwestern. First pitch is slated for 7:00 p.m. (CT).
