Track And Field To Compete In Windsor, Ontario This Weekend

The University of Notre Dame men’s and women’s track and field teams have changed this weekend’s schedule. The Irish, previously scheduled to compete in the Cannon IV Classic in Indianapolis, Ind. this weekend, will instead travel to Windsor, Ontario, to take part in the University of Windsor Team Challenge. The competition will begin at Saturday, Feb. 10, at 9 a.m., local time.

Notre Dame is sending a limited roster of competitors to the Team Challenge. From the women’s team, Ayesha Boyd (60 meters), Kristen Dodd (60 and 300 meters), Natalie Hallett (pole vault), Tameisha King (60-meter hurdles and 60 meters), Kymia Love (300 meters), Ana Morales (600 and 1,000 meters), Jill VanWeelden (pole vault), Jaime Volkmer (pole vault), Bethany Wilson (pole vault) and Betsy Lazzeri will make the trip.

On the men’s side, James Bracken (300 meters), Nathan Cahill (pole vault), Travis Davey (60 meters), Derek Dyer (shot put and weight throw), Tom Gilbert (long jump and 60 meters), Josh Heck (pole vault), Godwin Mbagwu (triple jump and long jump), Sean McManus (3,000 meters), John Scolaro (shot put and weight throw), Nick Setta (600 meters), Brian Thornburg (shot put and weight throw), Craig Novosel-Johnson (high jump) and Terry Wray (300 meters) will be on the trip.
