NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Tickets are now available for the NCAA South Bend Regional, one of the 16 NCAA Division I Softball Championship regional round sites that will be hosted by the University of Notre Dame softball team and Melissa Cook Stadium this weekend.
Notre Dame is hosting an NCAA Regional at Melissa Cook Stadium for the first time since the stadium opened in 2008, and just the second time overall in the 27-year history of the Irish softball program.
General admission tickets for the three-day regional tournament in the chairback section of Melissa Cook Stadium are $10 each day. General admission bleacher seating is $5 per person, with youth bleacher tickets available for $3. Daily ticket purchases grant fans admission to each game scheduled for a particular day.
The official regional schedule is as follows:
Game 1- Friday 2 p.m. (ET), Kentucky vs. Northwestern
Game 2- Friday 5 p.m. (ET), Notre Dame vs. Ball State
Game 3- Saturday 12 p.m. (ET) (Winner Game 1 vs. Winner Game 2)
Game 4- Saturday 3 p.m. (ET) (Loser Game 1 vs. Loser Game 2)
Game 5- Saturday 6 p.m. (ET) (Winner Game 4 vs. Loser Game 3)
Game 6- Sunday 1 p.m. (ET) (Winner Game 3 vs. Winner Game 5)
Game 7- Sunday 4 p.m. (ET) (if needed) (Winner Game 6 vs. Loser Game 6)
Fans can purchase NCAA South Bend Regional tickets by calling the Murnane Family Ticket Office at (574) 631-7356 between 8:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. (ET) on business days.
