Dominated by Michigan State in the first half, and trailing by 16 points in the fourth quarter, Notre Dame staged a stunning 40-37 victory over Michigan State. Notre Dame’s Game-Changing Performance came with 2:53 left to play. With the Fighting Irish down by four points, defensive cornerback Terrail Lambert intercepted an MSU pass with a seemingly impossible fingertip grab and sprinted 23 yards for a touchdown, turning the tide in the final moments and leading Notre Dame to victory.
