AS A JUNIOR: Was coxswain for multiple boats during the spring season for the Irish … started the spring season off against Buffalo where she guided the second varsity eight boat to victory (6:17.16) … competed in two events in Indianapolis … finished in third in the varsity four (8:14.8) behind another Notre Dame team and Indiana … competed with the victorious second varsity four boat in Indianapolis, gliding across the finish line at 7:34.4 and finishing ahead of Indiana and a second Notre Dame boat … qualified for the BIG EAST Championship grand finals by placing first in preliminaries with a time of 7:22.21 … went on to win the BIG EAST Championship final by stopping the clocks at 7:03.24 … placed fourth (7:51.68) at the Oak Ridge Regional Grand Final in the open four regatta behind Virginia ‘A,’ Clemson, and Virginia ‘B’ … qualified for the grand finals by placing second in heat A behind Virginia ‘A’ … earned fourth place in the Notre Dame varsity four ‘A’ boat in the Head of the Rock Regatta (17:43.69) … was the coxswain for the varsity eight Notre Dame ‘3’ boat that captured fifth place vs. Tulsa in a time of 14:49.8 … secured a first-place finish vs. Tulsa in the varsity four race, guiding the Notre Dame ‘1’ boat to a time of 11:37.6.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Began spring season as coxswain of the second varsity eight boat before taking over the varsity four boat midway through the season … against Duke and Buffalo, earned two heat victories after finishing the races in times of 5:14.5 and 5:18.3, respectively … returned to the water two weeks later against Michigan and Michigan State, finishing in third place after posting a time of 6:54.9 … captured a race victory the following day against Buffalo, Indiana, Purdue and Eastern Michigan, freezing the clock at 7:20.7 … moved to coxswain of the varsity four against USC and UCLA, finishing second in each of the two races … in the morning session against the Trojans, crossed the line at 7:56.90 … in the afternoon against the Bruins, stopped the clock at 8:53.03 … advanced to the grand finals at the BIG EAST Championships after winning in prelims with a time of 7:56.782 … captured grand final gold after setting the mark at 8:08.885 … secured a lane in the petite finals at the Central/South Sprints, finishing in third place after recording a time of 7:35.33 … coxed the Irish varsity eight ‘3’ boat to an 11th-place finish in 16:33.53 at the Head of the Rock … was also the coxswain for the varsity four ‘3’ boat which finished seventh at the Head of the Rock in 17:26.86 … coxswain for the varsity four ‘B’ boat against Indiana, Iowa and Michigan State on South Bend[apos]s St. Joseph River … boat went on to win flight two in a time of 14:39.20 … named to the BIG EAST All-Academic Team.

AS A FRESHMAN: Started spring season serving as the coxswain for the Notre Dame ‘B’ second varsity four boat … helped the five-member boat earn a third-place finish against Michigan State in the opening event of the spring, finishing the course in 9:01.83 … the following day against Indiana and Purdue, coxed the ‘B’ boat to a second-place finish with a time of 7:05.00, as the Irish went on to finish first, second and third in the race … switched back as coxswain of the second novice eight boat in the four-team regatta at Ohio State … helped lead her boat to two race victories on the day, defeating Ohio State in the morning session with a winning time of 7:11.12 and knocking off Minnesota in the afternoon session with a victorious mark of 7:04.00 … coxed the novice four boat at the BIG EAST Championships in the grand final, helping lead the boat to the gold medal in a time of 8:02.648 … coxed the Notre Dame ‘B’ open varsity four to a fourth-place finish in the C final at the South/Central Sprints with a time of 7:18.13 … earned a spot in the finals after finishing fifth in the prelims posting a time of 7:29.81 and second in the semifinals crossing the finish line at 7:21.61 … did not coxswain at the Head of the Rock regatta … got first race experience with the Irish, coxing the Notre Dame ‘A’ boat in the novice eight race at the Southland Regatta … crew finished the race in a time of 20:47.16.

PREP AND PERSONAL: While attending Marist High School in Chicago, Ill., participated in both swimming and track and field … lettered her senior season on the swim team under the direction of Megan Scanlon … was a member of both the National Honor Society and the Spanish National Honor Society … born in Palos Heights, Ill. on November 15, 1989 … daughter of Robert and Susan Gilhooly … has three younger siblings: William, Michelle and Brian … majoring in civil engineering in the College of Engineering.
