AS A SENIOR: Competed at the Lubbers Cup with the varsity eight ‘B’ boat finishing fourth and with the varsity four ‘A’ finishing third … rowed with the varsity four boat against Michigan State and Miami … finished first at the Indiana Invite with the second varsity four boat stopping the clock at 7:29.2 … sat in the second varsity four boat at the Charles River Challenge winning one race (7:36.00) and finishing second in two others … placed first in the Grand Final at the BIG EAST Championship with the second varsity four (7:51.30) … competed at the Central/South Region Championship with the varsity four where her crew placed second in the preliminaries (7:37.24), fourth in the semifinals (7:56.47), and second in the Petite Finals (7:38.10) … at the Head of the Rock competition helped the Irish to a ninth place finish out of 23 entries with a time of 16:24.59 … earned first monogram in final year of competition … named to the BIG EAST Academic All-Star Team.

AS A JUNIOR: Spent most of the spring season in the second varsity four boat … rowed in the open four boat at the Central/South Championships, placing fourth in the Petite Final … placed second in the Grand Final of the second varsity four boat at the BIG EAST Championships, helping the Irish to the team conference title … sat in the second varsity four boat against Virginia (‘A’ and ‘B’) and Princeton … rowed in two races at the Lubbers Cup, placing second in the second varsity eight ‘B’ boat (8:16.49) and first in the second varsity four boat (9:11.05) … placed second in varsity four ‘B’ boat (behind the Irish[apos]s ‘A’ boat), with a time of 8:01.02 to defeat Cincinnati … rode in second varsity four boat against Tennessee and Minnesota.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Rowed in the varsity four ‘B’ boat at Lubbers Cup in the spring and helped crew to a second-place finish with a time of 8:41.30 … rowed with varsity four ‘B’ crew at Central/South Region Championships and helped her boat to a sixth-place finish in Grand Finals with a time of 7:53.93 … opened the fall with a fourth-place finish in the piece one race in a time of 10:01.00…with a time of 9:42.00 earned a fifth-place finish in the piece two competition … finished the day with her best showing in the piece three race where her team rowed their way to third-place clocking in at 10:07.00 … at all three Regatta races she sat in the seventh seat … at the Head of the Rock finished 10th in the open eight out of 25 entries … varsity four crew placed fourth in a time of 16:48.0 at the Notre Dame Invitational … recorded a fourth-place finish in the open four-b a the Head of the Elk.

AS A FRESHMAN: Member of the second novice eight that defeated Cincinnati … novice eight B crew took second place against the Irish A crew, Purdue, and Louisville … First place novice eight victory over Indiana and Purdue. Sat in the four seat for the fall season … finished eighth out of 30 boats in the novice eight race at the Head of the Rock (18:24.69) … placed 34th at the Head of the Rock in a time of 18:11.45 in the open eight race … came in fourth in the novice eight-a race with a time of 17:03.1 at the Head of the Elk on the Upper St. Joseph River … also placed sixth in the open eight with a time of 17:26.0 at the Head of the Elk.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Participated in swimming and cross country while at Notre Dame High School … led swimming team as captain to an undefeated season and was named MVP for her senior season … also team captain for her junior year … served as secretary of the Titan Theater Guild and president of the Associated Student Body … valedictorian of her graduating class … one of Eric Larsen and Patricia Castro-Larsen[apos]s four children … born March 23, 1986 in San Bernardino, Calif. … graduated with a degree in marketing from the Mendoza College of Business.
