AS A SENIOR (2012):Appeared in 15 games for the Irish, getting the start on five occasions (four at catcher) … recorded first hit and RBI of the season along with six putouts against Minnesota (Feb. 26) … belted a two-run home run in a 16-0 rout of Cal State Fullerton (March 14) … contributed a pinch hit single against Connecticut (April 1) … combined for 24 putouts on the year … credited with five assists in the field.

AS A JUNIOR (2011):Posted 11 starts and played in 16 games for the Irish … did not commit a single error in 97 chances from behind the plate … tallied two runs, two hits, two RBI and drew two walks at the plate in 20 at-bats … doubled home a run against Fordham (March 6) … scored a run during a pinch-hitting effort in a bout with Loyola-Chicago (April 13) … finished 1-for-1 with one RBI and scored one run in a home win over St. John[apos]s (April 30).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2010):Emerged as Notre Dame[apos]s go-to catcher … recorded a .995 fielding pct., the 12th-best mark in program history … started 56 contests … had 34 hits for a .286 average with eight doubles an seven home runs for a .529 slugging pct. … scored one run and singled against Creighton (Feb. 12) … exploded for four RBI with two hits and her first career home run against Virginia (Feb. 26) … had at least one hit in each of the four games at the Cavalier Invite (Feb. 26-27) … collected four hits at Western Michigan (March 18) along with a home run, her first of three in a five-game stretch … two three-RBI games in the month of March … scored twice against Western Michigan (March 18) and Eastern Michigan (March 23) … doubled in one run at Seton Hall (March 27) … seven game hit streak spanned from March 12-23, capped off by a three-hit performance against Eastern Michigan … doubled in one run against Rutgers (April 1) … scored and recorded an RBI against USF (April 10) … two-run homer against Cleveland State (April 15) … two hits – including a double – and drove in one run at Louisville (April 17) … posted four hits – including two doubles – with two runs scored during the Villanova series (April 24-25) … the latter game with the Wildcats also featured a home run … homered at St. John[apos]s (May 9).

AS A FRESHMAN (2009):Shared catching duties with Alexia Clay … played in 22 games with 20 starts … laid down a sacrifice bunt against Stanford (Feb. 20) … first collegiate hit came at Sacramento State (Feb. 21) … also scored against the Hornets … recorded hits against Pacific (March 13), Ball State (March 24) and Pittsburgh (April 4) … doubled against Ball State and Pittsburgh, as the shot against the Panthers drove in a career-high two RBI … 15 putouts against Pittsburgh, and 10 more versus Western Michigan (March 25) … faulted behind the plate just once in 132 chances.

PREP AND PERSONAL:Listed as one of the top prospects at her position among Californians, according to Rivals.com … earned four letters in softball and has served as team captain for three seasons under Ramona (Calif.) head coach Mike Schuler, taking home the team[apos]s MVP honor in 2007 … batted .429 as a senior with an on-base clip of .561 … had five homers, 24 RBI, scored 22 runs and drew 18 walks while striking out only once her entire senior season … received all-Valley League honors three times in as many seasons, and was voted to the all-city team following her junior campaign … played volleyball for Ramona as a freshman before focusing solely on softball … in her first stretch with the prep squad, she tied for the fourth-most RBI (20) in the conference and was third with a pair of home runs in league play … as a junior, her total of eight home runs was good for third-place among all players in North County … also that season, she had 38 hits in 79 at-bats, scoring 32 times and drove in another 25 runs … her .481 batting average was sixth-best in the league, which was supported by an on-base percentage of .585 … won her team[apos]s 2005 Defensive Player of Year award, then racked up the Coach[apos]s Leadership award in 2006 and took home the Valley League[apos]s Player of the Year award that same season … made it onto the California Interscholastic Federation[apos]s (CIF) 2007 all-San Diego team, and found a spot on the CIF[apos]s all-academic squad as well … the Union-Tribune named her to its second-team in 2006, and then she played her way into its first-team one season later … through three prep seasons, she sported a .418 batting average, .498 on-base percentage, plated 79 runs, drove in 75 more scores and slammed 16 home runs … for four consecutive years her summer team, So Cal Athletics, played its way into the ASA National Tournament and finished 5th in the 18U Gold division in 2005 … daughter of Sylvia and Keith Wright … born June 12, 1990 … has two siblings, Ashley and Christian … member of the National Honor Society, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Renaissance Club and president of high school[apos]s Spanish Club … marketing major in the Mendoza College of Business…also majoring in psychology.
