AS A JUNIOR (2022)

  • Played in all 13 games making two starts at cornerback. Finished the season with 29 total tackles, recording 23 solo. Added one tackle for loss and an interception. Was tied for second on the team with four pass breakups in addition to a forced fumble, a fumble recovery and two quarterback hurries. Key contributor on one of the top special teams units in the country, playing on the punt, punt block and kickoff units.
  • OHIO STATE (9/3): Finished with a season-high seven tackles, six solo. Added a pass breakup.
  • MARSHALL (9/10): Finished with an unassisted tackle.
  • CALIFORNIA (9/17): Added a pass breakup and two tackles.
  • NORTH CAROLINA (9/24): Had a solo tackle.
  • BYU (10/8): Finished with a pass breakup.
  • STANFORD (10/15): Added two solo tackles.
  • UNLV (10/22): Forced his third career fumble and recovered his first fumble on the same play in the second quarter
  • SYRACUSE (10/29): Blocked a punt, the first of his career to help put the game away late.

  • NAVY (11/12): Recorded his first interception of the season, trailing a reverse across the field and making a play on the pass. Interception set up the Irish’s fifth touchdown of the first half. Finished with two solo tackles.
  • USC (11/26): Finished with three solo tackles.
  • South Carolina – TaxSlayer Gator Bowl (12/30): Finished with two tackles, one solo. Added a TFL, a quarterback hurry and a pass breakup in the Irish’s 20th bowl game victory in program history.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2021)

  • Finished his second campaign on the Irish defense with a third-best 53 tackles (44 solo), including two tackles for loss; Hauled in his first career INT in the season opener at Florida State and tallied one sack at Virginia
  • FLORIDA STATE (9/5): Made his first career interception to go with a solo tackle in Notre Dame’s season-opening win
  • TOLEDO (9/11): Created a solo tackle and a pass defended in the home-opener victory
  • PURDUE (9/18): Tallied three tackles (all solo) in win over Boilermakers
  • WISCONSIN (9/25): Collected a solo tackle and assisted in two stops in win over the Badgers in Chicago
  • CINCINNATI (10/2): Marked four tackles (three solo) and a pass defended
  • VIRGINIA TECH (10/9): Set a season-high with six tackles (all solo) in the victory in Blacksburg

  • GEORGIA TECH (11/20): Combined for six tackles (four solo) and caused a season-high two pass breakups; Created a tackle for loss which resulted in a five-yard loss in the opening drive of the third quarter
  • STANFORD (11/27): Earned three solo tackles and forced a second career forced fumble which was recovered by the Irish in the fourth quarter
  • OKLAHOMA STATE – Fiesta Bowl (1/1): Led the defense with 10 tackles (all solo) for the second most in his career and tied for the most solo stops

AS A FRESHMAN (2020)

  • Played in all 12 games for the Irish, making starts in six; Finished tied for fourth on the defense with 33 total tackles (29 solo) to go with one TFL, one forced fumble and seven PBUs; Led the Irish with a game-high 12 tackles against Syracuse and earned ACC Defensive Back of the Week for the first time thanks to the performance
  • SOUTH FLORIDA (9/19): Marked his first-career start, posting five tackles (all solo), the second-highest figure on the team and tied for most among Irish DBs, in addition to 1.0 tackle-for-loss (-3 yards) and a team-leading three pass breakups which finished as the most in the ACC for the week
  • FLORIDA STATE (10/10): Posted one tackle in the win versus the Seminoles
  • LOUISVILLE (10/17): Posted one tackle in the 12-7 win against the Cardinals
  • CLEMSON (11/7): Totaled five solo tackles in the 47-40 2OT win over the then-No. 1 Tigers
  • BOSTON COLLEGE (11/14): Started and registered two tackles and a pass breakup in the 45-31 win

  • SYRACUSE (12/5): Named ACC Defensive Back of the Week for his performance in the 41-25 regular season finale win; Led the game with 12 tackles, the most by an Irish player in a single game since Julian Love’s 12 vs. USC in 2018; Finished tied for the most tackles on the weekend by an ACC defensive back and had the most solo stops; Became the only player in the ACC with 12 or more tackles to note a pass breakup; Created the first forced fumble of his career in the third quarter
