AS A SOPHOMORE:

• Placed third in the 3000m at the GVSU Bill Clinger Classic with a personal record time of 9:53.03

AS A FRESHMAN:

• Earned an eighth-place result in the 3,000-meter run (10:12.72) at the Alex Wilson Invitational
• Finished second in the event final of the 3,000-meter run (10.20.69) as part of the indoor Blue and Gold Invitational
• Opened first cross country season with a ninth-place result and time of 18:05.50 at the Crusader Open (3.1M)

PREP AND PERSONAL:

• Attended Sun Prairie (Wis.) High School
• Cross Country Academic All-State all four years of high school
• Finished third as a freshman at the cross country state meet
• Member of the first place cross country team at the Wisconsin state meet in 2016
• Finished sixth as an individual at the Wisconsin track & field state meet and the 4×800 relay as a junior
• Won the state championship with her team as a senior
• All-State in both cross country and track during her senior year
• Tauscher-Vetter Servant Leadership Award winner
• Was the vice president of National Honor Society
• Daughter of Jim and Jeanne Blachowicz
• Has one brother, Danny
• Fifth member of her family to attend Notre Dame
• Grandfather Bruno Blachowicz (’59), aunt Mary Lewis (’80), uncle Paul Blachowicz (’82) and cousin Stephanie Shambo (’08) all graduated from Notre Dame
• Intends to major in neuroscience and behavior with a pre-med concentration
