Jodi DeFilippi 2023-24 Cheerleading Staff

Coach Jodi brought over 17 years of cheer experience to Notre Dame before she moved from Florida. She began Allstar Cheerleading at a young age and cheered competitively in Florida along with High School Cheer. Jodi won Back to Back World Championships in 2016 and 2017 with her team, Senior Black at Brandon Allstars.

After graduating high school, Jodi went on and attended the University of Alabama where she was a 4 Year All Girl Cheer Member from 2017 to 2021. While cheering at the University of Alabama, the All Girl Cheer Team won Gold at UCA College Nationals in 2020. Along with winning UCA College Nationals, Jodi was a member of Team USA All Girl in 2019 winning Silver at the ICU World Championships. During her time in college, she continued to coach All-Star teams at the junior and senior levels. They competed at local and National competitions!

Jodi graduated from the University of Alabama in 2021 with a degree in Business Administration and Marketing. After graduating in 2021, Jodi went back home to Florida to work at North Fort Myers High School as the Assistant Athletic Director. In 2022, Jodi made the move to South Bend, Indiana where she became the Assistant Cheerleading Coach at the University of Notre Dame. Her first year at Notre Dame included many new experiences, including coaching the first ND Cheer Team to compete at UCA College Nationals and placing 9th!

When she is not at the University, she is the Head Cheerleading Coach at Saint Joseph High School. She enjoys teaching cheerleading at different levels with her technique, game day knowledge, and raising school spirit. Outside of cheerleading, Jodi loves taking her dog Guinness out on trips and being outside! She is excited for her next years in the program!
