  • Came on for 2 ⅔ innings of relief in Saturday’s 9-5 victory over Rice. (February 17) Jacobsen effectively retired 8 of the 10 hitters he faced, striking out two.

SENIOR YEAR (2023)

  • Played in 33 games with 33 starts
  • Made 16 starts as the designated hitter, 14 starts at third base, and eight starts on the mound
  • Hit .288 on the year with 15 runs, 34 hits, nine doubles, two homers, 24 RBIs, a .415 slugging percentage, and .380 OBP
  • Made 10 appearances and eight starts as a pitcher
  • Tossed 34.2 innings on the year with a 7.01 ERA and 25 strikeouts
  • Hit .333 in league play with 12 runs, 24 hits, six doubles, one homer, 12 RBIs, and a .429 OBP
  • Appeared twice as a pitcher in conference play, tossing 6.0 innings with a 3.00 ERA and four strikeouts

  • Threw 6.0 innings in the start in the Beanpot semifinals at Northeastern (Apr. 4), allowing two earned runs with four strikeouts
  • Tossed 5.0 innings in the start vs. Columbia (Apr. 28), permitting two earned runs with four strikeouts. 

JUNIOR YEAR (2022)

  • Gained Ivy League Player of the Week on Apr. 25
  • Played in 40 games with 39 starts
  • Hit .327 with 19 runs, 48 hits, six doubles, one triple, three home runs, and 19 RBIs alongside a .353 OBP and .442 slugging percentage
  • Made 12 appearances with three starts as a pitcher
  • Posted a 5.28 ERA, 2-2 record, one save, and 17 strikeouts over 29.0 innings
  • In Ivy League play, hit a team-best .371 with 13 runs, 33 hits, three doubles, one triple, two homers, and 10 RBIs alongside a .391 OBP and .494 slugging percentage
  • Made four appearances as a pitcher in Ivy play, registering a 5.40 ERA, 1-0 record, one save, and seven strikeouts over 8.1 innings
  • In Ivy League play only, ranked fourth in the league in hits (33) and seventh in batting average (.371)

  • Finished 3-for-5 with two runs at Cornell (Mar. 26); also gained the save, hurling an inning of scoreless relief with two strikeouts
  • Tossed a season-high 6.0 innings in the win at Fresno State (Mar. 15). 

SOPHOMORE YEAR (2021)

  • Team did not compete due to COVID-19. 

FRESHMAN YEAR (2020)

  • Started all six games for the Crimson
  • Primarily served as the team’s third baseman and designated hitter
  • Made two appearances on the mound
  • Hit a pair of singles and scored a run vs. Alabama (Feb. 29)
  • Recorded his first career RBI and pitched 0.2 innings against Alabama (Mar. 1)
  • Recorded a hit and run scored against Fairfield (Mar. 6)
  • Went 1-for-4 with a single and two RBIs vs. Stetson (Mar. 8)
  • Pitched a scoreless ninth inning vs. the Hatters (Mar. 8) to earn his first career save. 

PREP & PERSONAL

  • Four-year letterwinner in baseball and basketball for The Branson School
  • Served as baseball team captain in 2018 and 2019
  • Helped his team to a North Coast Section championship in his senior season
