Notre Dame Advances to Finals Versus Miami

MIAMI, Fla. — The University of Notre Dame women’s tennis team posted a 4-0 win over Boston College in the semifinals of the BIG EAST Conference championship on Saturday and now advance to the final match on Sunday vs. Miami. The Irish are the top seed in the event and the defending league champions. Notre Dame also met Miami for last year’s title.

Notre Dame is ranked No. 23 in the country and improve its record to 16-10 on the season. Irish sophomore Jennifer Hall was a winner in both singles and doubles for the Irish while sophomore Marisa Velasco and junior Darcie Sweet also picked up victories in singles.
