Women’s Tennis Sweeps Drake

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — The University of Notre Dame women’s tennis team improved its record to 12-10 on the season with a 9-0 shutout win over Drake on Friday afternoon. Drake drops to 9-10 on the season. Notre Dame is ranked No. 17 in the country.

Sophomore Jennifer Hall was the winner at No. 1 singles for Notre Dame with a 6-2, 6-1 win over Marianne Motte. Hall was a double-winner on the day as she also was victorious at No. 2 doubles. Senior Tiffany Gates and freshmen Kelly Zalinski and Kelley Olson were all winners in both singles and doubles for the Irish.
