Loftus Sports Medicine Center in the Guglielmino Athletics Complex
The newest addition to the Sports Medicine Department is the 8,500-square foot Loftus Sports Medicine Center located in the Guglielmino Sports Complex. The facility is home to the latest in cutting edge sport medicine diagnostic, treatment and rehabilitation equipment. It is highlighted by a full x-ray machine, HydroWorx underwater treadmill, AlterG Anti-Gravity treadmill, Liteforce laser treatment technology, and a Biodex Isokinetic Rehabilitation Station. The Notre Dame Sports Medicine Staff (made up of fourteen certified athletic trainers and two physical therapists) utilizes the facility for comprehensive health care of all Notre Dame student-athletes.
