Irish Get Past Virginia Commonwealth

MONTGOMERY, Ala. — The University of Notre Dame men’s tennis team posted a 4-3 win over No. 10-nationally ranked Virginia Commonwealth in the second round of the Blue-Gray National Classic on Friday afternoon. Notre Dame will play its next match in the event later tonight vs. Illinois.

The win improves the Irish record to 12-3 on the season and the team is ranked No. 20 in the country and has won four matches in a row.
