NOTRE DAME, Ind. – This past football season, raffle tickets were sold on home football weekends by the Fighting Irish players in an effort to raise funds for the team’s foreign tour in Italy.
Nearly 4,000 tickets were sold to Irish fans, which yielded over $20,000 for the program.
“Without the support of loyal Irish fans, the team would not have had the amazing experience of being exposed to another culture along with the opportunity of facing international competition,” said head coach Deanna Gumpf.
