Slaggert And St. Cyr Win Gold With Team USA U18's

NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Notre Dame National Letter of Intent signees Graham Slaggert and Dylan St. Cyr as well as Notre Dame alum and head coach John Wroblewski helped the U.S. Men’s National Under-18 Team to a gold medal at the 2017 IIHF Under-18 men’s World Championship.

The tournament took place April 13-23 in Slovakia, including Team USA’s 4-2 gold-medal win over Finland. St. Cyr stopped 22 of the 24 shots he faced in the championship game and was named to the tournament’s All-Star Team.

In seven games, St. Cyr posted a 1.96 goals against average and a .921 save percentage for Team USA, while Slaggert also skated in all seven games for Team USA.
