University of Notre Dame men’s basketball fans looking to purchase season tickets for the 2016-17 campaign will have a unique opportunity to not only buy their tickets but also to select where their season seats will be located. The second annual Select-A-Seat event will be held on Saturday, Aug. 6, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. ET at Purcell Pavilion at the Joyce Center.
Any fan who purchases at season ticket on Aug. 6, in person at the event will receive a chance to shoot a three-point shot on the Purcell Pavilion floor. A successful shot will earn the shooter a free season ticket for the 2016-17 season. Only one attempt will be allowed regardless of the number of seats purchased.
Fans also will be able to pick up a free 2015 ACC Championship replica banner while supplies last and the men’s basketball locker room will be open to participants in the Select-A-Seat event for pictures.
The complete 2016-17 schedule with dates and times will be released later this summer. The 2016-17 home slate will feature games against Iowa, Duke, Louisville, Virginia, Syracuse, Clemson, Wake Forest, Boston College, Georgia Tech and Florida State, among other yet-to-be determined games. The complete ’16-’17 schedule will be released in late summer/early fall.
