NOTRE DAME, Ind. – As anticipation for a new Notre Dame women’s basketball season continues to build, season ticket holders will be able to earn the first glimpse at the 2017-18 Irish squad.
On Monday, Oct. 23, Notre Dame will hold an open practice from 3:45-5 p.m. ET, inside Purcell Pavilion, exclusively for season ticket holders. Watch Karen & Kevin Keyes head women’s basketball coach, and now Naismith Hall of Famer, Muffet McGraw put her 13-member squad through the paces, just 19 days before the Nov. 11 season opener vs Mount St. Mary’s.
In addition, immediately after the open practice, the Irish will host the ‘Meet the Newcomer’ event. This will mark the first opportunity for fans to get know all six fresh faces to this year’s team: senior transfer Lili Thompson, junior transfer Jessica Shepard, freshmen Danielle Patterson and Mikayla Vaughn and our two walk-ons Kaitlin Cole and Maureen Butler.
