NOTRE DAME, Ind. – The Notre Dame baseball team’s game versus Villanova scheduled for Saturday, April 23, has been postponed due to weather conditions. The teams now will play a Sunday doubleheader starting at 12:05 p.m., with the first game to be seven innings followed by a nine-inning game.

Notre Dame’s first starter is slated to be sophomore righthander Dan Kapala while the third-game starter is TBA. Villanova has flipped its rotation and now will send freshman righthander Kevin Mulvey to the mound in the seven-inning game while sophomore righthander Mike Loree is the likely game-three starter.

Fans are reminded that the Notre Dame sports hotline (574-631-3000, then option 4 and option 2) will include any depay information that may pertain to Sunday’s games. The series also has Monday available as a makeup day (for one or two games).
