NOTRE DAME, Ind. — Graduate attacker Samantha Lynch was named the ACC’s Offensive Player of the Week for the second time this season, the conference announced Tuesday afternoon (March 23).
Lynch scored four times in Notre Dame’s 19-5 victory over Liberty last Friday (March 19) before collecting a game-high six points (5G, A) on Sunday (March 21) in Notre Dame’s 15-10 triumph at #19 Louisville.
Saturday marked the fifth five+ goal performance of Lynch’s career and she has scored at least four goals in four of six contests so far this season. She currently boasts a team-high 20 goals and 24 points in 2021. She was also named the ACC’s Offensive Player of the Week on February 16 following Notre Dame’s season-opening victory against Vanderbilt.
In 64 career games, Lynch has totaled 125 goals and 146 points.
