AS A SOPHOMORE: Did not compete in any races during the season.

AS A FRESHMAN: Competed with multiple boats for the Irish this season … earned first monogram … helped the third varsity eight to a victory over Tennessee in the finals of the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite (6:52.60) … also placed second to Virginia with a time of 7:43.02 as well as another second place finish against Kansas (7:00.17) … rowed the second varsity four race at Ohio State (7:59.89) … came back the next day to get the victory over Indiana and Purdue at Indianapolis with a time of 7:34.71 … helped the third varsity eight boat beat Iowa and Rutgers (7:14.00) at the BIG EAST Invite … competed in the third varsity four victory over Iowa and West Virginia at the BIG EAST Invite (8:02.30) … won the BIG EAST Championship second varsity four race over Louisville, Rutgers, West Virginia, and Connecticut in 7:44.378, after topping those same teams earlier that day in the prelims (7:30.760).

PREP AND PERSONAL: Rowed all four years while attending New Canaan High School in Darien, Conn. … captained the team during senior season … won the 2011 Greenwich Invitational over the Connecticut Boat Club in the four boat and also clocked the fastest time in heats at the Mercer Sprints, claiming the win after the finals were rained out … finished third in the women[apos]s Junior B four race at the Club National Championships in 2008 … named Most Improved Rower following the 2010 season … won the [apos]10 USRowing Northeast Regional Championship in the four boat … stroked the quad that placed third at the [apos]10 USRowing Youth National Championship … finished 13th in the women[apos]s youth 2x at the [apos]10 Head of the Charles … officer of the St. John[apos]s Youth Group … cousin, Tom Longo, ran track for the Irish … currently enrolled in the College of Science, majoring in applied and computational mathematics and statistics.
