AS A JUNIOR: Coxed the first novice eight and third varsity eight during junior season … first novice eight placed second against No. RV Michigan State (7:04.51) during the afternoon session of the Big Ten/ACC Double Dual … guided the first novice eight to a runner-up result with a time of 7:08.80 on the opening night of the Dale England Cup … coxswain for the Notre Dame third varsity eight entry that finished fourth in the grand final (6:51.90) of the 2015 ACC Championship.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Made season debut as the coxswain of the third varsity four boat at the Oak Ridge Cardinal Invite against Louisville, leading the Irish crew to a second place finish in 7:50.745 … coxed third varsity four at the ACC/Big Ten Challenge, placing second behind Ohio State in 8:09.58 before logging a third place finish in 8:37.00 later in the regatta … closed out season with a win in the second varsity four at the Dale England Cup in 7:44.10.

AS A FRESHMAN: Appeared as the coxswain for the B-team first novice eight boat at the Dale England Cup … team finished third in both races, coming in behind the Irish A-team and Alabama with a time of 7:34.4 on Friday afternoon and crossing in 7:47.2 in the Saturday morning race.

PREP AND PERSONAL: Graduated from Miramonte High School … ran varsity cross country for four years and varsity track for three … lettered seven times between the two teams … is a member of the Squaw Valley Ski Team, which competes in the Western Region for Alpine Ski Racing … has competed in ski racing since the age of six, particularly the GS, Slalom and Super G events in high school … as a senior, qualified as the first alternate to represent the Far West at the Western Region Junior Ski Championship race … as a junior, was the track team captain and recorded personal best times in the one mile and 5K races while tying her record in the two mile event … competed in the Far West USSA ski races and USASA ski cross events … placed third at the Revolution Tour ski cross race and qualified for USASA ski cross nationals … as a sophomore, notched a personal best time of 12:06 in the two-mile race … as a freshman, ran cross country with the Head Royce School and was named MVP … made the first team all-league at the league finals, and was 10th at the NCS meet …with her ski team went undefeated and won the overall Tahoe League title in 2009 … participated in the National Charity league and earned the Heart to Heart award for six years … earned the California Scholarship Federation life membership award as a senior in high school for her outstanding grades … received the CIF Scholar Athlete award … named to the Far West Academic Team for maintaining a 3.5 GPA or higher … is the daughter of Jay and Leslie Ryder … father Jay ran cross country and track at Colgate University … has one sister, Sierra … enrolled in the Mendoza College of Business as a marketing major.
