HIGH SCHOOL AND PERSONAL DATA: A four-time letterwinner in soccer at Eagan High School along with earning three letters as a point guard in basketball • for his prep career, he totaled 29 goals and 46 assists • his career mark for assists is a Eagan High School record and stands as the fourth-best total in the state of Minnesota • also set his school[apos]s mark with 20 assists during his senior campaign • that ranks seventh all-time in the state • was named one of the MVPs of the match for the Senior Classic, which is the Minnesota High School All-Star game • was a two-time all-state selection in soccer and a three-time member of the all-conference and all-city teams • captained his team during his junior and senior campaigns along with being named team MVP those two years • his squad won the conference and regional championships during his sophomore season after winning the regional title the previous year as well • his U14 Eagan squad was the MYSA Premier League champion and Minnesota State Cup champion • U15 Eagan was the MYSA Premier League champ with an undefeated league record as well as NSC Cup champion, USA Cup runner-up in the `Cup Flight[apos] and State Cup `Fair Play Award[apos] recipient • member of the National Honor Society • born Sept. 4, 1987 • the son of David and Rita Baumgardner • has two siblings • his father played four years on the University of St. Thomas tennis team • intends to major in engineering • currently enrolled in the First Year of Studies.
