JUNIOR SEASON (2017)

  • Saw action in and started all 13 games
  • Helped a Notre Dame defense that improved by at least 20 spots in the FBS rankings in third down conversion percentage, interceptions, rushing defense, scoring defense, passing efficiency defense, sacks, tackles for loss and turnovers gained
  • Irish were the last team in the FBS to surrender more than 20 points in a game (Irish allowed 20 points or less over each of their first eight games)
  • Notre Dame allowed only four plays of 40 yards or longer in 2017—the second-fewest of any team in the FBS
  • The Irish allowed only one play of 50 yards or longer in 2017—the second-fewest of any team in the FBS

  • Third among all defensive linemen in tackles with 37
  • Made a season-high nine tackles, including five solo stops, and one TFL at NC State (Oct. 8)

  • Recorded at least one tackle in all but two games

FRESHMAN SEASON (2015)

  • Played on the defensive line in all 12 regular-season games and started three contests (Georgia Tech, Navy and Stanford)
  • Did not play in the BattleFrog Fiesta Bowl against Ohio State (Jan. 1)
  • Sixth among all defensive linemen in tackles with 12
  • Added two TFLs and one sack
  • Recorded a sack against Texas (Sept. 5) in his collegiate debut
  • Made a season-high four tackles, all solo stops, with a TFL at Clemson (Oct. 3)
  • Collected three tackles against Georgia Tech (Sept. 19), two against Boston College (Nov. 28), and one each against Texas, Navy (Oct. 10) and at Stanford (Nov. 28)
