AS A SENIOR (2022)

  • Named a team captain for the 2022 season. Finished the year with a team-leading 82 tackles, 45 solo, added 8.5 TFLs, and two sacks. Added three pass breakups and three quarterback hurries. Played in 12 of 13 games during the season, making 10 starts. Named the Notre Dame Defensive Player of the Year.
  • OHIO STATE (9/3): Finished with three tackles, one solo, two assists. Made a stop on third and short in the first quarter of the contest to force an Ohio State punt.
  • MARSHALL (9/10): Recorded nine tackles and a tackle for loss
  • CALIFORNIA (9/17): Added five stops and a half tackle for a loss of one yard
  • NORTH CAROLINA (9/24): Had one solo tackle
  • BYU (10/8): Went for five tackles in the win over BYU
  • STANFORD (10/15): Career-best 13 tackle performance. Six unassisted and seven assisted tackles. 0.5 tackles for loss, combining for a sack and a loss of three yards
  • UNLV (10/22): Finished with a team-high seven tackles, five solo, two assists. 0.5 sacks, 1.5 TFLs and a pass breakup.
  • SYRACUSE (10/29): Added five tackles, including a tackle for loss. Broke up a pass and finished with a quarterback hurry.
  • CLEMSON (11/5): Finished with a team-best 12 tackles, nine solo. Added a sack for a loss of four yards. Finished with two tackles for loss, totaling eight negative yards.
  • BOSTON COLLEGE (11/19): Finished with a team-high five tackles and added a pass breakup.
  • USC (11/26): Tied with Xavier Watts for the team-lead with nine tackles. Added 1.5 tackles for four yards worth of losses.
  • South Carolina – TaxSlayer Gator Bowl (12/30): Led the team with eight tackles, recording five solo. Added a half tackle for loss in the win. Recorded one quarterback hurry.

AS A JUNIOR (2021)

  • Played and started in all of Notre Dame’s 13 games this season; Led the Irish defense in tackles and was the only Irish player to record over 100 tackles (101); Became first Irish player with triple digit tackles since 2018 (Te’von Coney); 63 of his 101 stops were solo tackles, good for more than double the next best Irish defender; Collected seven TFLs, including 1.5 sacks; Forced one fumble and recovered another, tallied one pass breakup and four QB hurries
  • FLORIDA STATE (9/5): Made his first career start and led the Irish with a career-high 11 tackles in the season-opening win
  • TOLEDO (9/11): Led the Irish with 11 tackles (10 solo) in the win over the Rockets; Became the first Irish defender to have back-to-back games with 10-plus tackles since 2018; Set a career-high in sacks with 1.0 and recovered his first career fumble on the final defensive play for the Irish to seal the victory against Toledo.
  • PURDUE (9/18): Set a career-high with 12 tackles against the Boilermakers for his third straight game with double-digit tackles; Became the first Irish defender to have double-figure tackles in three straight games since 2018
  • WISCONSIN (9/25): Tallied seven tackles (6 solo) in the 2021 Shamrock Series win over Wisconsin.
  • CINCINNATI (10/2): Recorded six tackles to tie for the team lead in the matchup against Cincinnati; Extended streak of team’s leading tackler to five games
  • VIRGINIA TECH (10/9): Tallied a team-high 10 tackles to mark his sixth team-leading performance and his fourth double-digit tackle game in the 32-29 victory
  • SOUTHERN CAL (10/23): Tied the team lead with seven tackles in the home win over the Trojans
  • NAVY (11/6): Recorded eight tackles, five solo, for second most for the Irish on the day
  • GEORGIA TECH (11/20): made four tackles, two solo, and added a pass defended in the Irish’s 55-0 win over the Yellow Jackets
  • STANFORD (11/27): Tied the team in tackles (five total, four solo) for the eighth game this season; Created a forced fumble late in the third quarter
  • OKLAHOMA STATE – Fiesta Bowl (1/1): Collected nine tackles, including two TFLs, to eclipse the 100-tackle mark on the season and finished second on the team in stops for the game; Became first Irish player to reach the 100 tackles mark since Te’von Coney in 2018

AS A SOPHOMORE (2020)

  • Appeared in 11 games for the Irish this season; Made seven tackles, five solo, during second season at Notre Dame
  • SOUTH FLORIDA (9/19): Posted first career tackle and finished with three stops, two solo, in the 52-0 win
  • FLORIDA STATE (10/10): Added three tackles, two solo, in the win
  • SYRACUSE (12/5): Marked a tackle in the 41-25 regular season finale win over the Orange
