AS A SENIOR (2015-16): Finished career at Notre Dame in outstanding fashion … qualified in both 1-meter and 3-meter in NCAA Championship competition, making women’s diving team history as one of three divers to qualify … at NCAA Championship, scored 252.70 in 1-meter and 290.70 in 3-meter, good for 38th and 29th respectively … at Zone C meet, automatically qualified in 3-meter with fourth place finish (621.00, 300.55 from prelims) and made the automatic cut in 1-meter with seventh place, 554.25 (270.00 prelims) score … also dove to a score of 178.85 in Platform … had strong ACC Championship meet, finishing eighth in 1-meter (271.50 finals) after being seeded third (305.60 prelims) … also finished fifth in 3-meter (331.95 finals) after earning second-place seed from preliminary score of 356.05 … finished 17th in Platform (222.85 prelims) … began the year at Dennis Stark Relays, taking second in 1-meter relay (492.25 combined score, 263.90 individual) and winning the 3-meter synchronized diving event (234.50) … at Virginia Tech, finished runner-up in 3-meter (301.75) and took third in 1-meter (283.40) … at Virginia, won the women’s 1-meter (282.07) and took fifth in 3-meter (269.40) … earned a pair of second-place finishes against Northwestern, scoring 321.90 in 3-meter and 283.60 in 1-meter … finished regular season at Shamrock Invitational, winning the 1-meter competition (284.65) and taking second in 3-meter (300.70) … at end of year banquet, honored with Golden Dumbbell Award (first recipient since 2011) and was named Monogram Club MVP … earned a monogram.

AS A JUNIOR (2014-15): Continued to improve in third campaign, turning in solid showings at both the NCAA Zone C meet and the ACC Championships … qualified for the finals in the 3-meter discipline at the NCAA Zone C meet … finished 13th with 578.95 points … also took 19th on the platform (179.95 points) and 21st on the 1-meter board (264.55 points) … claimed 14th on the 3-meter board (276.70) and 17th in the 1-meter discipline (257.40) at the ACC Championships … named ACC Female Diver of the Week (Nov. 18, 2014) after placing first in the 3-meter dive (323.10) and second on the 1-meter discipline (300.07) in a dual meet against Illinois … finished second on the 3-meter (319.95) in a double dual meet against Auburn and Vanderbilt … placed third on the 3-meter dive (318.25) and fourth on the 1-meter discipline (278.05) at the Hawkeye Invitational … finished second on the 3-meter board (331.70) at the Shamrock Invitational … won the 3-meter dive (328.05) and finished second on the 1-meter board (309.52) in a dual meet against Cleveland State … received CSCAA honorable mention Scholar All-America honors … earned a spot on the ACC Women’s Swimming & Diving All-Academic Team … tallied Dean’s List honors during both the fall 2014 and the spring 2015 semesters … named to the ACC Academic Honor Roll … earned a monogram.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2013-14): Had an impressive sophomore season for the Irish, advancing to the NCAA Zone C Championships in all three diving disciplines … finished tops on the team at the zone meet in the 3-meter (8th – 601.40) and platform (9th – 428.25) disciplines … also claimed 19th off the 1-meter board (257.60) … competed in all three dives at the ACC Championships, placing 11th on the 1-meter (289.70), 16th on the platform (233.05) and 18th on the 3-meter (283.00) … earned the gold on the 3-meter board at Louisville (327.38) … named a CSCAA honorable mention Scholar All-American … selected to the ACC Academic Honor Roll … earned a monogram.

AS A FRESHMAN (2012-13): Had a strong opening season for the Irish, advancing to the finals of the BIG EAST Championships in all three diving disciplines … placed sixth in platform diving (186.15) and eighth in the 1-meter (244.10) and 3-meter (251.70) dives … secured the bronze in the platform dive at the First Chance Meet with season-best score of 236.20… a member of the BIG EAST All-Academic team … earned a monogram.

PREP & PERSONAL: A four-time letter winner in diving at Marian High School (Mich.) … tabbed as a two-time All-American and three-time all-state honoree … collected all-conference and all-country awards all four years … named Catholic League Conference champion sophomore and senior year and broke the conference’s 11 dive record with a score of 465.00 points … a Division I State Meet runner up senior season … a two-time Oakland County Championship second-place finisher … broke school record in six dives with 303.80 points … for USA Diving, participated as a member of the Michigan Diving Academy … three-time Michigan Diving Association 16-18 Female Diver of the year (`10, `11 `12) … holds the Michigan Diving Association’s 3-meter springboard record with 440.00 points … named a five-time USA Diving Junior National Qualifier on the springboard and platform … named the `11 and `12 USA Diving JO Summer Regional champion … competed in JO Summer Nationals senior year with a broken hand and achieved highest finish of seventh place on the 3-meter board … member of the National Honor Society, French Honor Society, Ambassador Club and Phi Beta Kappa … earned the Top English Award on two occasions and the Top French Award freshman and senior year … full name is Emma Katherine Gaboury … born in Pontiac, Michigan to Dean and Pamela Gaboury … has three younger brothers … graduated from the University with a degree in Science Pre-Professional Studies and intends to continue her education at Michigan State Medical School.
