- Earned three letters in rowing and one in soccer at Western Albemarle High School.
- Helped Western Albemarle to three consecutive Virginia Scholastic Rowing Association women’s quad championships in 2015, 2016 and 2017.
- Posted three consectuive top-three finishes in the women’s quad at the Scholastic Rowing Association of America championship in 2015 (third), 2016 (first) and 2017 (second).
- Member of the Beaver Creek Sculling club team.
- Helped Beaver Creek finish fifth at the Head of the Hooch in the women’s quad in 2016 and eighth in 2017.

- Daughter of Tom Smith and Nancy Kallander, along with brothers Ben and Nate.
